More Sheepy Love.....spreading the Sheep Dip.......

I ordered some more of @szukalski 's "Wise Sheep" (aka "Wise Ass") boards from JLCPCB that just arrived.

This is one of the best medium to high gain overdrives I've built in a long time!
So good, it's worth sharing!

I have 5 boards, 4 faceplates (I stole one for my own build).
I also have a "Brown Sheep" board, a BJFE Distortion circuit.

DM me if you want one, first come first serve. I can pop one in the mail to you.

Finally bit the bullet and bought some DEFX, via Pusherman.
(Fast shipping!)

Very impressed with the quality of the boards — incredibly stout, but then they need to be thick given their area size.

Also got Mutated’s Breadboard Friends PCB set (BBF small brown envelope, which is actually Legal/A4 sized, which gives an indication of just how big those DEFX boards really are.)

Love it. That resistor on the Timbreman which is blacked out is a 470R, not a 470k as incorrectly marked..

Already have a build in mind for the matte hammered red one (Vox distortion booster? Probably!), but I’ll have to give some serious thought for the sparkle metallic red hammered one since it is without a doubt the single coolest powder coat color I’ve ever seen

I think I bought those in a bulk close out when Pedal Parts Plus or some other company changed hands! Texture doesn't work for my process.

Woohoo Mail day!

@Robert sent me one of the new 3 channel mixer boards! Looking forward to building this out although I'm not quite sure how I'll be using it yet.

Also, I decided since I own so many PRS's I needed a "Blues Lawyer" pedal.......
Actually I listened to some demo's of both the Blues Lawyer and Blues Captain and they both sounded really good to me.

And a Deofol because @szukalski said that my life just would not be complete without building this. I always listen to my enablers........

Also New Pickup Day!!!

I was so pleased with my Mini Hums from Planettone.com that I chatted with Jose about a neck P90 with the similar characteristics.
He suggested his Elite Pro with A2 magnets. (Still chasing the P90 tone of my dreams.....)

This one is going in my Gold top. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be in phase with the Lollar Bridge pickup.
We'll find out in a few minutes.

My son has been taking guitar lessons for over a year but he still can’t play my guitars because he’s only 7 and he’s big, but not big enough. So I got him an Ibanez Mikro 3/4 size. It needs a setup and clean (second hand) but no fret work as far as I can see. The pickups are pretty decent as well, does the rock metal thing without mud!

I swapped it where his other guitar was. Let’s see how long until he notices.

Got my diodes from alexer1 on Ebay, I'm sure it's nothing new for a lot of people here, but this is the first time I got a package with the information leaflets and everything - I can feel the Mojo dripping from these. 100 pieces D18 and 30pieces D9E.

I also happened to spot some 1N34's and even a XR2206CP on a local Finnish small webstore, so might pick those up.

A few missing components and enclosures are expected at the beginning of next week. I’m eager to see the enclosures! (I hope everything went fine). More to come…
