My cheap lepai/dayton turntable set up died last week. It was 12 yrs old so no complaints. Between pending Christmas expenses and a certain hobby that seems to drain the coffers, I didn't have a ton of money to work with. This Fossi tube amp and Moukey speakers sound a lot better and weren't a huge jump in price. Should limp me through a few years before i can justify something fancier. I did upgrade the tubes as suggested in the Amazon reviews. Bought it as a goof and I don't hate it.

I'm just using them to replace fixed resistors in cramped spaces. Haven't seen any docs that call for em though. I was originally looking for 9mm solder lug pots, but saw these and thought they were cute

BYOC uses a lot of 12mm pots in their kits.
