Arrived on a Sunday, no less, with our Canada Post carrier hammering to catch us before we could pull away. I saw him pulling up (fast) in the rear-view mirror, so I …

A) was somewhat surprised to see Sunday delivery, but not too much given ‘tis the season;

B) Knew it must be for me, and got out of the car immediately.



I forgot to delete a Seabed Delay from my order (two …the loneliest number since the number one), which put me just over the threshold and I had to pay the GST, but as always — glad it wasn’t UPS/DHL broker-BS!

Gotta be more careful in future and better limit my orders.

I D K, maybe I had a plan for a dual delay? I think I just forgot to delete one of the…

There are documented results of prints not properly adhering to the matte sand texture and the print literally chipping off. Hopefully doesn't happen when you drill for the LED

Well dang i just orered a UV print on sand black enclosure but im having them drill it to see how their drill service is lets see what happens.

The people who have them drilled still have had the issue. Good luck I just stick with matte black, I think it gives a great contrast against the gloss print, especially as I like using the black enclosure for the negative space in certain designs.

We'll just have to find out if it falls apart in my hands or not got it

I know a lot of people have had issues with the UV prints not adhering to the sand black finish but in my own experience the uv prints on the sand finish are incredibly durable. I’d be on the lookout for signs of it lifting, but I also wouldn’t count on it.

Don't worry too much, someone said it's fine so far too. You have just as much probability of having wonky drilling or something going wrong with the circuit itself no time for what ifs friend just build it!

Antique Electronics Supply and PedalPCB on the same day. Of course the parts are for my BF builds and (mostly) not for the boards shown. NPN germs (hfe 68/158/164/174) from AES for my mountain oyster board and for the sandspur board shown. Will be testing them in my current sandspur to decide which pair sounds best, then will use one of the other two for the MO. Other board is an Octarock. Good thing I ordered some 5457’s on a whim since the octa uses 2. Only regret is not getting an intelligent relay bypass board. Love having the option of momentary octave like on my ocelot.

The Refeactor turned out cool for me. I’m finishing up the Kliche right now. I have the OD1 to do for a friend sometime this winter- curious to hear your thoughts.

The Refeactor turned out cool for me. I’m finishing up the Kliche right now. I have the OD1 to do for a friend sometime this winter- curious to hear your thoughts.

Looking forward to hearing what you think about the Kliche compared to the Refractor. Yeah, I'll let you know what I think about these when I get them finished.

Awesome I'm actually doing a bass version by Chuck D. Bones' article https://cordialcablesusa.com/publications/pathways-august22/desktop/ but I have another board that I'm going to make for a friend. I'm sure they're pretty identical. I socketed the diodes and plan on messing around with those to see if they make much difference to my ears.

That’s my intent as well. I just have to muster the motivation to build yet another klone. I’ve built way too many already.
