How bout them Barrington trains? No one “drives through” barrington… more inches through.
Needed this ab as much as….well you get it. Bought it as much out of curiosity of what was on the inside as liking the sounds. Cool little noise maker and to maybe no one’s surprise, FV-1 based and ATMega driven.
Now back to ordering parts for another $$$ pedal I don’t need.

I'm getting out of control with my ideas here for an enclosure and hardware. I need to sketch it out and see what's actually doable and realistic. But I am pretty sure that custom knobs and hardware will be a part of it.You better make yourself some rad knobs for that c19

Rad! I know for a fact that i'll do a custom enclosure, but that's on hold until I get access to a brake one way or another. Hopefully I can do that this semester, since I'll be in the metalshop for my sculpture class anyway. The current plan for knobs is to make some really swanky ceramic knobs, though I'm not quite sure of the details yet. It'll be a stand-mounted unit with some auxiliary footswitches, but I'm getting way ahead of myself with planning.

I didn't notice the Quantum Defrakulator at first, and got jealous that your C19 had more pots than the one I just got
Looking forward to your build reports. If you can try an LM837 (or similarly specced BJT opamp) instead of a TL074 in the Sonic Reducer- it amps up the aliasing effect considerably

I got a package of bits and pieces from AliExpress, including some SMD J201s and 2N5457s.
I have a tester with a pad for SOT-23 chips, which identifies both (I tested one of each) as N-channel JFETs, and that's as much as I can do without soldering them to adaptor boards and testing them properly.
I've bought a lot of stuff from AE so I'm aware of what to avoid, and I'm fairly confident these will be what they're claimed to be. If not, it's a few bucks, no biggie, and they're certainly some kind of N-channel JFETs so they'll be useful in some circuits whatever their specs turn out to be.
The codes are correct for what they claim to be, so that's a good sign. I took these pics with a cheap (AliExpress) microscope hooked up to my smartphone.
