I'd been looking for some leaky PNP transistors for some fuzzes, and scored the deal of a lifetime on a lot of 56 Motorola 2N2043's.

How do you find deals like this...? In my case, the only score may be a bag of potatoes at the grocery store
Most often, nothing interesting for the price as if it were made of gold.

And an old amp comes back into rotation. This was a Carvin Legacy 2x12 combo which was waaay too heavy to take back on the plane. So I took out the speakers and sawed it in half like the savage I am. You haven't seen a rougher head outside that night with he/she who will not be named. Sounds great though!

I was looking for some for the Green machine boards I got in the pedalmas PIF from @KR Sound and this listing sort of came up out of nowhere. It was out of Japan (decent sign), and having tested a number of them on the tape, they sit really nicely between a gain of 250-290 on my T7 (good sign). Half are already spoken for, but I'll find some uses for the remaining ones.

Mind the pinout! Going to build some super fuzzes?

If my Sardine Tin (super-fuzz) boards were ECB I would. I guess that means I have to make an ECB version now

I got it used for a really good price. So far it sounds nice just with a guitar. There are a lot of settings. I would like to have it as a home practice tool and also as a backup rig.
