The Numero Group has done an astounding job with many genres, and as a Chicagoan I’ve been to their actual storefront many times.

A couple standouts: Eccentric Soul- The Big Mack Label (although the entire ES series is unreal), and Pisces - A Lovely Sight, a late’60’s psych gem from IL that was never released until NG unearthed it.

Their Cult Cargo collections are nuts too- Grand Bahama Goombay and Belize City Boil Up are must-haves. Seriously, you won’t be sorry.
Oh damn I had no idea there was a storefront. I'll definitely look it up next time I'm in the city.

Used to play Numero records all the time back in my college radio days ~20 years ago. Always loved when a Numero record was on rotation. I ripped a bunch of CDs from the station, but I own a real copy of Grand Bahama Goombay on "spinning media" 😂

Nice! Heh, yep I remember having some awful mp3s of a few of them. They had a blowout sale of their cd stock a few years ago (5 bucks each!) so finally fixed that!

I finally found the Boss equalizer I'd been looking for - an "older" non SMD one that I can mod with some better op-amps. I had one about 12 years ago but back then I had no idea how to use equalizers in my playing. The DS-1 I kinda bought accidentally. The DS-2 was one of the first pedals I ever bought but I never played the DS-1. I've been listening to quite a lot of Nirvana lately and made someone an unreasonably low offer on our local version of Reverb and shockingly he accepted 😅 :ROFLMAO: Oh well. Did not know what to expect but I have to say that I quite enjoy it. 🤘 And I just now realized that unlike the other Boss pedals the middle one controls the volume and not the tone.
