What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

What’s the sine wave? Signal generator?
Nope. Not tonight. Don't have those slide switches on hand.
Need to get a tayda order together anywa... Out of stock there. Well.
Also, looks like he may not be giving them away anymore. Or maybe the discount in the cart.

And of course I still have NOT built my Windows 11 machine yet, and am still limping along on Win 7 pro.

Ok, this is kicking my butt to grab the components and slap them into the case. I have *everything* in one box ready to put together. Solid state 2T hard drive, the super super fast one. Forget the name but it plugs into a slot designed just for it instead of one of the card slots.

So much to do, so little time......

Slap it together before the humidity drops and you have to worry about grounding/ESD.
If you plan on doing and high track/stream recording/video, it may be worth the extra $50 to get a second OS/Apps drive.
Haven't made the jump to W11 yet. Haven't really taken the time to even research it. Looking to eventually jump back to Mac for my DAW but that's probably a year or so away. I want to see what the next Mac Studio looks like. If nothing else, should provide opportunity for a cheaper used Studio V1.

Yeah that was it, but I got the M.2 PCIe 6.0 so the motherboard and drive had to both have the 16x performance. Got a really slick looking ASUS gaming cabinet and motherboard... The I7 cpu that came out in 11/21 uber fast. Probably not in production any more, lol.

I think I spent about $1300 on the parts. Just setting there.

It's been really difficult since I became a widower. I bought a lot of stuff just trying to erase the pain and it did no good. I took two years of Psych in college, and knew I was suffering from survivors guilt, but it didn't any good either. 2 years and 3 months it took for me to 'get over it', and that was 9 months ago.

Much happier now, but OMG there is SO much to do!!!

The monitors are kinda crackly. I'm using an unbalanced connection. not sure if that's causing it or they need to break in or something. Otherwise they sound fine

Stiff necks suck and my workshop is still out of commission until I get the roof fixed. Finally just said screw it and plunked my money down

In other packages: I couldn't say "shut up and take my money" fast enough after I saw these at 'the orange box', real aluminum not plastic!
