What's on the drawing board? 🎨🖌️

I decided I wanted to trace the HIWATT logo so I would have a vector version of it, so, you know, I could change the colors because 'black and white' is kinda boring. I managed to find a fairly high resolution bitmap taken straight on so the letters would all be the same scale. Whaddaya think? Took a day, lol. Tried 'auto trace' websites but they failed miserably.

The top text of this is just MicrogrammarMedExt which is pretty close to the logo, the bottom is the tracing.

edited: I just noticed I never changed the outline on the I to black. Used grey while tracing so it would stand out from the background. Oops.

You might want to thicken the outline on the text in the green version, that's pretty slim...

I think they did the green version like this:

Good idea, I traced it with the finest line size so I could more clearly see the divide between colors at 1000%. Straight parts were easy, but the curved parts were probably done with a french curve back in the old days and each one is just a tad different at high res.

You know I didn't even know there was a green hiwatt logo plate! That's my favorite shade of green, so I just picked it out of 'recent' colors. I'm painting my house this summer, and I'm doing the walls in an almost flat satin sheen pure white, and the trim in that shade of green. Maybe a bit more or less gray, it's a pastel mix I got from Lowes called Green Whimsy..... Thinking of doing the porch floor in a pastel tan.....

I’m kind of a digital graphic arts freak child so if you need any help, I’m your dude.

Not gonna help you paint your deck though…

I'm good at drawing geometric shapes, and tracing. I truly suck at drawing. Pretty good at guitar tho.

Ah, come on! I have an extra roller!!! I may tile the porch as instead, but I'll have to use the thinset on the bottom of the tile and slap it down onto the cement. This 67 year old body of mine does NOT like being on the ground, or rather getting back up off the ground. Freakin' arthritis sucks. I remember when I was young and seeing an old guy spreading the thinset on a tile, that was on a table, then putting it into position and I couldn't understand why!!!! doh....

Did you say green trim?

We just finished renovations and used a lot of color accents for the trims. I really like that shade (we used Farrow & Ball).

Looks great! Mine is still in cans, lol. I had just purchased the paint when last winter's particularly cold and wet season began. I'm used to dry 80 F Christmas' here in SoCal, but I guess I jinxed it by buying the paint 'cus it rained more here that I have ever seen in my life!!!!! 45 inches of rain in my backyard rain gauge, lol....

Yeah I hear about that, it’s been crazy! That’s what climate change looks like I guess.

My Squidward with the Intelligent Relay Board won't work anymore after the switch wet the bed. I wired in a new one and it won't turn on. So much for momentary switches being more reliable.
A few days ago I saw a Green Ringer on an eyelet board on Analog Noir's IG so me too I made a Squidward on an eyelet board.

So I started to do the layout for the Fender Tremolux 6G9B around 2013. I did a lot of work on it, and then aborted. A month ago I saw the work I had started and decided to *do it over from scratch*, since the files were corrupted and would crash Visio when I tried to edit.

It is one hell of a busy amp design..... This is everything, top and bottom, power cap house, iron. I'll split it out to a chassis holes only, top view and bottom views later. I feel at one with the force! What was left undone, is done.
