Been working on the 2 layer builds. One of these is not like the other though. This is what I get for going off of shape and not looking at the component placement. Some desoldering should fix it right up.

I'm getting interested in trying some double deckers.

Would anyone be willing to share Mouser codes for particularly small electrolytic caps? They seem to be the biggest obstacle for tight builds. Searching and squinting and scrolling through their data sheets can give me a monster headache. Any other suppliers with small electrolytics would be appreciated too!

The middle one has the boards out of order. The top board shouldn't have the potentiometers.

I used to get them from Small Bear but they've discontinued them. These days I use tantalums for my small form polar caps.

I was so disappointed when I noticed that. Good thing the fix went smoothly.

Another good tip for mouser:

You can specify under the products tab for "miniature" electrolytic caps. That helps narrow down the search significantly.

Take a pair of calipers to the outline on the board, and you'll be able to narrow your search to a specific width, height, lead spacing, etc.
