T tcpoint Well-known member Feb 18, 2020 #7 R12 and the diodes are probably the most noticeable differences. I'll have to find my BB preamp and compare the two.. I misplaced it. Really like the Gauss and really like the BB. Just need to compare them.

mywmyw Active member Feb 18, 2020 #8 I have an actual Mesa Flux drive and it rules. Sounds less shrill and nasally to me than a TS. Really nice with single coils. Try the Gauss, seriously
