ZVex vibrophase

This is the one that caused them to tell me I wasn't even allowed to mention their name on social media and that the name "Phase Factory" was a trademark violation.... :ROFLMAO:

To be fair, there was a project (briefly) available before the commercial pedal even made it to dealers. 😬

It's seven SHO's, four configured as all-pass filters driven by a microcontroller based LFO.

So I guess that means you're not going to make one? A shame, this sounds pretty good but I'm too poor to buy one.

Well now I didn't say that... I just can't say their name on social media. :ROFLMAO:

... and we have to call it the Phase Foundry.

Would yall be mad if we didn't use a microcontroller for the LFO? It did nothing more than generate a sine wave...

I wouldn't be mad if this didn't happen. I think the DOD vibrothang sounds better. This sounded very underwhelming in the video posted above

It was a cool pedal, but certainly no better than the ElectroVibe.

You can just warp the LFO a little more. Similar to the Abyss I guess. (and used an LED instead of a lamp, just like the Abyss)

My biggest issue with the abyss was it was super bass heavy, of course that can always be modded. I think with a few changes the abyss would be a good vibe replacement candidate

What if you call it the Fase Phoundry?

One for the money
Two for the SHO
Three to get ready ...

Getting threatened by Mr. Vex is like a rite of passage.

Hi @Robert. Please don't forget this one. I think the video sounds great and really want to build one of these!

Haven't forgotten. :)

I had an issue that I thought was related to the circuit but have recently discovered while working on another project that it might be a bug in my LFO code.... If so I'll be circling back around to this one eventually.
