Did some organizing today at my bench

Mounted a monitor on the wall for a small pc I built for extra parts laying around. Find myself having to run back and forth to look stuff up. I had an extra motherboard and various parts from upgrading all of our monster pc's around here the last couple years and had enough parts for another build. added another HF organizer and mounted it with the others. Felt good to organize some of my parts..... Now back to making a mess of the bench and covering it with tools I never put away..lol This is the cleanest it's been in 6 months.

Always a good feeling and sadly mine looks the same: tools and parts scattered there for 6 months lol

I am too ashamed to show my workbench. It's a mess......BUT I also started bringing a laptop out with me that sits on my rolling organizer/guitar setup table so I wouldn't have to look up stuff on my phone or run back to the office. It's usually some mod I read about here in the forum that I forgot to write down or "Hmmm, I only have 2 5088's but I need 6, what can I sub for it?"

Fig shared this one with me and it’s pretty decent… only thing is that the focal point distance is a bit on the short side.. but it works!

That’s a good point and I regret it did not come to mind when I was giving my review. If you use it to solder, it can be a bit difficult to position in-focus but out of the way.

I think it’s pretty good… I give it a 7 out of 10… I really do t use it to solder… more of an inspection kinda thing and it’s focal point is really fine for that… Now if your doing smd work it could be an issue.. I haven’t ventured down that path yet.
