What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

I had to go back to the old 60/40 solder.. had to apply the heat to long for "non-toxic"

I got 5 knobs, 4 boards, 3 capacitosr and a 2 meter bundle of wire ti hang myself... wait is this NOT the 12 deperessions of the holidays?

Chatting with an old friend and mentioned that the power tubes I ordered for my triptop kit have been backordered for like 9 months, I had to be a fancy boy and bought the Telefunken black diamond set. Anyway, he's a tube nut like y'all and generous like @fig so he gave me these tung sols. No more excuses....

The coffee arrived today too. I'm almost more excited about that. Phrases like "indigenous varietals" get me just as worked up as things like "all original hardware." Screenshot_20220813-175549_Gallery.jpg

I just picked up a SiB 'Cuda tube overdrive as an impulse buy, showed up today. Haven't plugged it in yet, but naturally I've poked around at the guts. Looks really well done and solidly built, I have no idea how they made any money selling these for $100 new.

Ah, that makes sense I guess. I got this one from a seller on the gear page. I've seen them on reverb for $150-250, but this guy gave it to me for $95 shipped, which is in my "I don't need it but at that price I don't not need it" range.

It's an excellent pedal, I have one traced here for a PCB at some point. I bought one to send to some shady character here and liked it enough that I bought one for myself.
Oh good, I won't bother to look into it much then. I saw a couple J201 in there and was wondering what the setup was, figured it was similar to some of the Kingsley stuff I've seen with a JFET front end pushing the tube.

How long ago was this, a PCB should be available soon then!???????????
It's only been like a year and a half, hit the brakes Speedy! :ROFLMAO:

That sounds about right... JFET gain stage in front and an output buffer I believe.

I have schematics for the standard and LT version. I'll send em to you whenever I pull them off my backup drive.
