I got 3 500k pots in the mail for a tele with humbucker and only one is within 10% of 500k. All of them less than 480k. This stuff is driving me mad. How close to the actual value do yall accept? I know it probably will sound find but knowing the values will drive me nuts

yah, you need to buy 525k pots next time. Those are the only ones that will net you 500k. In reality, no big deal you won’t be missing 20k….

This actually came in the mail yesterday but I was too busy with work to post. (Freaking work.....don't they KNOW I have a pedal forum to keep up with?.....sheesh.....)

First batch from @Robert BF sale and "temptation code".....I just love faceplate builds!! Also a pack of 78L05's....
That other board is a "Solenoid Drive" that I didn't know existed until recently (Xotic Soul Driven Allen Hinds Signature Overdrive)

He is now plotting an entire pedal board around it. The look on my other bandmate's face as he gets lost making space disco noises is priceless. "What have you done???" face.

I was actually looking at the full size Het but the thought of another 1590XX box gave me a headache. I've already built the Duo Phase and I have a Parentheses in my queue. It looks like the Mini has most of the important functions of the full. Of course Mouser is OOS on some of the SMD components.....sigh.....

Pretty much half a tube amp. It’s the pre-amp pedal I’ve been working on. Have all the missing parts arriving soon.
