Yeah no kidding there were some really nice boards just too narrow.
Found a really sweet piece of walnut that had way too many knots to work around

It has been so far! Can’t wait to actually start building it. I got the neck from warmoth with Stainless frets and a TUSQ nut. The thing is a work of art.That is going to be one fun project
Still deciding on pickups but I’ve been going back and forth with Tim from Mcnelly pickups about doing a HPP configuration with a cornucopia p90 sized HB in the bridge and then two p90s in the middle and neck. I’ll be doing a 5 way switch and master volume master tone and I’m adding a bass contour control like reverend guitars.

I’m interested in tackling a project like this when I have the time. Meaning once the weather gets warmer and I finish all my normal, adult, house projects

Are you building off a template or blueprint?So my dad is doing all the woodwork as I don’t have the equipment or time to do it but I bought a template from Javelina Guitars on reverb for the triple p90s. The template has everything on it so the warmoth conversion neck should work fine. I did come up with a new template for the control cavity since I’m doing the five way switch and adding a third pot so it will be master vol master tone and “bass contour” like in reverend guitars.
Once the body is routed, it’s getting shipped to me where I’m going to finish it up.

The Midwest has amazing hardwood stores and tons of them. Also they actually have Woodcraft stores. Maybe other parts of the country do too and it’s just the Northeast that sucksssss
