Minimal mods to this guy-

• R4 replaced with a 10k pot and 10u bypass cap
• Diodes replaced with 1N5817
• Master Volume added to output

The DRV pot can take it from Jawari type gated twangy clang up to nasty fuzzeses

The Green Ringer is still my favorite octave up circuit, so you should build four

I've got around a dozen FuzzDog Spluffers on hand with no plans and now I might need to do this with one of em.

Wired exactly like this, only I used a 10kB and a 10uf, with the positive lead coming from lug 2 of the pot

Board out to lug 3 of a 100k pot
Lug 2 of the pot to the footswitch board
Lug 1 to ground

Dude, it sounds amazing. How did you get it to add so much gain? It sounds like there's a fuzz in there now. Is it because of the gate pot?

Yep, the drive pot rebiases the first stage from sorta clean up to total fuzz
