Yep, Had one 2, They put a lot of drummers out of work at that time.I think it had alot to do with Staying In Time & Volume control!!!I haven’t used them in years (but, then again, I also haven’t recorded anything in years) but before I got into using VSTs, I was a big fan of the Alesis SR-16. I bought it in 1994 and, surprisingly, it’s still being sold.

I had some drums for a while. Too much going on for a bass player.
I’m pretty sure I used that or a variation of it to record some demos in the mid 90s. Wish I still had those tapes!!I haven’t used them in years (but, then again, I also haven’t recorded anything in years) but before I got into using VSTs, I was a big fan of the Alesis SR-16. I've got EZ drummer, but I want to get away from my computer and have a little manual control, for now.I’m pretty sure I used that or a variation of it to record some demos in the mid 90s. Wish I still had those tapes!!
Ya same here- I want to get off my computer as much as I can lately. Go back to a tape 4 track.I've got EZ drummer, but I want to get away from my computer and have a little manual control, for now.
Those things are still kind of expensive, last I looked. When my brother passed, I found a tape, but I got nothing to listen to it.I’m pretty sure I used that or a variation of it to record some demos in the mid 90s. Wish I still had those tapes!!
