My new pizza/cheese knife was just delivered by Fedex. Sharp as a razor.... By Cheese, I mean when you're slicing those 25 pound wheels....

I've been using a Kitchenaid pizza wheel, and it's very sharp but it isn't sharp enough. Instead of slicing the pepperoni's at the surface, it pushes them down till they make a taco shape then cuts them. Net result is most of the pepperoni falls off when you pick up a slice.

This is a used one that I got for about $50 + shipping. There were only two on eBay, the new one is over 100 when you add shipping and tax.

Found a pair of "broken" Crybaby Wahs (GCB-95 and GCB-95F) for $30. I think they just need new footswitches. Figure you can't get one empty shell for that with shipping, so feels like a good deal.

Well there is a large selection of this type of rocker cutter..... The arthritis in my fingers and hands would be aggravated by holding on to this. I decided I needed something with two handles, the Beemster is perfect for that. They're famous for their cheese, not cutlery and they don't make these anymore.

Plus I like to buy whole cuts of beef and cut my own steaks, this is going to be perfect for making nice long perfect thick, or thin steaks. I would have made pizza tonight, but Fedex arrived too late, so I'll try it tomorrow night!!!!!

Nice score. I drug/dragged/drugged¿ My feet on 6 vol/wah for 100 on craigslist a while ago. Pretty sure a GC employee pulled them out of the dumpster. Anyway. Awesome price but I couldn't think of more than 3 uses, tops. That and I'm trying to limit new projects...

One is going to be a TearJerker. The other, I was thinking a Variphase. I still have a secondhand 105Q that I am not sure works correctly (read: probably user error) that may get gutted too.

Nah, it’s just a pice of flatbar with some holes punched in it.

He did build engines for a living though, so he was definitely going for the head gasket look.

New Amp Day (well new to me)





Interesting amp. A Jahn design only made from 80-82. 2 6l6, has a low power switch to switch from 75w to 15w. Weird wffects loops that uses an insert cable. Lots of tone options with the boost switches for treble/mids/eq.

One of if not the last hand wired models. Also tube driven reverb.

New life to an older Amp day. I do the Fromel mods to my hot rod deluxe and put an AY 7 in V1 and an AT 7 in V3. Totally different and all 3channels usable amp.

Everything here except the global master volume mod. I did replace the master volume with an A250k. If you can find a 500K that be the sweet spot. And then the tube swap I mentioned, world of difference.

It's not yellow, it's patina. It's ancient, after all.
