I feel like I've outgrown my Mission Engineering 529i so I'm going to use it instead for a bass rig board and I picked up one of these monsters for my guitar pedalboard. It should arrive today and I'll tear my board apart...again.

Good to hear! Yeah, I'm thinkin I'm gonna have to fab some brackets to get it mounted into my pedaltrain. They make a bracket for their Fender pedalboard combo, but of coarse they don't sell it separate, only in the combo.
The 529i battery was great with just 8 small pedals....until I just kept adding bigger pedals. I'm up to 17 pedals now and it's only good for 2-3 hours tops. It should work amazing for this bass rig concoction I'm dreamin up!

It's an older version of the Global Specialties PB-503 —a gift from a good friend. A bit overkill for what I'm doing, but super grateful.
Handy for simple circuits + my inefficient breadboarding practices
I don't plug it in, because my house wiring is so terrible (PO's additions
) so this linear supply will be stupendous.

I had the Radio Shack version when I was a kid. I interviewed for a technician job in 2016 and in order to assess my knowledge of electrical concepts they pulled out one of these and timed me while I assembled some basic circuits. They used the same one.

Well, it's more like, what's NOT in the mailbox.
Dude..............FedEx has been chaffing my balls, roughly, VERY roughly. 3 separate orders, from 3 different vendors/sellers, all didn't have an option for me to choose my preferred shipping, all went with FedEx. Package #1 was supposed to be delivered last Saturday, got it yesterday. Packages #2 supposed to be delivered Monday, bounced between 2 citites in IL, then sat in Chicago for over 24hrs, is apparently "coming" today. Package #3 had endless operational delays, still waiting.
Oh and this gem!

Lucky kid! I only had the “60 in one” (or was it “50 in one”), and a couple of the radio kits (1 AM and 1FM). Still did a good job of igniting the fire within me!
Tube Driver clones? If so where? I need a tube driver in my life!
