That’s a lotta waveforms.View attachment 82466
Forgot a couple of things on this design. Strangeness with elliptical circles, not sure why my machine is being a little bitch.
Been wanting to put together the wavelord for some time. Seems like it'll be right up my alley for glitchy, broken sounds. That’s a lotta waveforms.![]()
Wavelord has been on my radar as something I was probably interested in because people talk it up, but I guess I must not have seen a build report on one.Been wanting to put together the wavelord for some time. Seems like it'll be right up my alley for glitchy, broken sounds.
The ability to drive other FX with this guy is definitely a part of the appeal.
The biggest problem with this thing, though, is the amount of control labeling required to really make sense of everything from a glance.

I would recommend checking axis squareness (making sure x/y are actually perpendicular) and checking belt tension, most common causes for improperly shaped shapes.Forgot a couple of things on this design. Strangeness with elliptical circles, not sure why my machine is being a little bitch.
High power/high speed and multiple passes is the best way to go if you're not getting through, then wipe with buffing compound on a soft cloth to clean up burned bits. My intro to lasering started with a 5W machine, and I had to do a lot of trial-and-error to get stuff to work. The 10watt laser I have has a hell of a time with cutting clean through the powder coating on these enclosures.
improperly shaped shapes. That was my band back in ‘91.I would recommend checking axis squareness (making sure x/y are actually perpendicular) and checking belt tension, most common causes for improperly shaped shapes.

I was looking at the bike and thought : those are Shimano rotors. I was surprised an amazon bike came with those... Good disc brakes are a must. I had those on my previous MTB and liked them, cheap and does the job perfectly. So I put on new rotors
Other than the crooked tail piece, looks good.Had this guy sitting around for awhile, had a broken pick guard, friend wanted it, carved out a new pick-guard for it, ready to rock

Madbean Archibald. Accidentally ordered a 1590BB instead of a 1590BB2 and now the enclosure won't close. That's an expensive mistake (I also had an UV print for it).

Be careful following that bean's advice. He looks angry. If you manage to desolder the header pins, you could resolder them with the breakout board flush to the enclosure top, maybe??
