Decent small lot of BJTs.
Some 3567 globtops and NPN germs. Good seller. Sometimes takes a few days to ship but I've bought a dozen plus lots from them and have no complaints.

Another lot from the same seller. Some Si and Ge BJTs. A little pricey for me at $50, but not bad in the long run if you win the germanium gamble and get usable BJTs

Thanks. I tend to steer clear of less common models, and especially so since that one is missing knobs that would be nearly impossible to replace

I usually keep my browsing to Craigslist. Saves me a lot of trouble since there's not much there, and I'm usually too lazy to drive very far.

I think I've usually seen you work on the later model portastudios, but here's a couple sweet oldies from my favorites list if you're lookin for a road trip:

Guitar Center's used section.

This lil guy's serial puts it firmly in the "Stack o' Dimes" inductor territory. Anything below ~ CB05XXXX as far as I know...around mid to late 1985ish is when they switched from the SOD to their worst inductor ever.

Caveat: could always be a swapped bottom plate, but the fact that it's missing a DC inlet means it's certainly early-mid 80s. Never know. Seems legit, caveat emptor.

80 ain't bad. I've seen better, but 80 ain't bad.

There used to be some bargains to be be found on eBay with search terms like “guitar amplifier not working” but it seems those days are gone. During Covid I searched to replace an old Traynor TS-25 that Peter Traynor gave me and I have no idea what I did with it. Found one on Craigslist within a 20 minute drive for $75. Speaker was pooched and it needed some TLC but with some work it sounds glorious. I’d turned some repairs onto WGS speakers but this amp REALLY got me dialed in.
