After a long hiatus, I finally reconnected (with) my modular setup. This is the brain section, which takes care of timing and envelopes for some good ol' probabilistic music.
FWIW I built all the modules in this section from scratch (long before I knew how little I know).
Fun to revisit this after such a long break.

Still in progress, but I took a leaf from someone-(whose name I can't recall)-'s book and built a Corsair preamp (from EHX's Freedom battery amp), using the effectslayouts' schematic.
I used my last one of Robert's permanent breadboards for this. Thankfully this coincides with a PPCB sale, so will replenish stock soon.
It squeals with great vigour in the testing phase but I'm trusting that grounding the enclosure properly will eventually remedy this. I'll do a proper build report when all is complete.

On the vanilla-fudged one...45 slots and I screwed up the 45th one.
My attempt to make it look intentional resulted in the pair of shapes at bottom left.
Depending what you’re into, could be lava lamps, fishies, or butt plugs. Your choice.

If you lengthened the top to mirror the bottom it'll look more like an hourglass... maybe.
