Pets of PedalPCB

I figured I should give an update now that Calvin (formerly Captain) is free from the lampshade of chaos. Seriously, he destroyed my leg and or toes a thousand times with that oversized cone.

Settling in well, he's a snuggle machine at home, flawless behavior indoors. Unfortunately the mere sound of any non human creature puts him in murder mode and my neighborhood provides constant interaction with dogs, cats, squirrels, raccoons, bunnies, and occasionally deer or coyote. Most reactive animal I've ever owned. I love him but taking a quick piss walk in daylight can be exhausting. We're already doing specialized reactive dog classes. I remain hopeful we can eventually take him to dog parks, school pickup, etc.

Rather cute though.

I recently moved into a place where the pet policy was “🤫” from the previous manager. It has been taken over by a corporate conglomerate equity firm. Guess who decided to start destroying my blinds all of a sudden. (It’s the top one)

I can’t be mad. I hate corporate conglomerate landlords too.

Such a cutie!!

8-month-old mini poodle. The face I need to say goodbye to each time I leave mom and dad's place.

We had German Shepards and a Kooiker before, but this breed's need for humans is of an entire different level. Breeding such a trait into a dog borders on animal cruelty.

I'd be an emotional wreck if I had to leave Tegendemuur's parent's place even once, let alone repeatedly.

It's tough even looking at the static picture, now imagine those eyes following you as you go out the door... 💔

This is Meadow. We got her when she was maybe 4 weeks old. Our first day with her, she was smelly so I bathed her and then wrapped her in a towel and held her to my chest to dry her off and warm her up. We spent the rest of the day on the sofa with her sleeping on my chest. She is the light of my life.

She likes to help. I moved my pedal stuff to the basement and she's developed an affinity for trying to explore downstairs, where she is definitely not allowed to go.

She's a manx and is much more outgoing than the other two cats. She completely disrupted their hierarchy when she came into the picture. But she's also shown them how to be more loving and affectionate.

We recently had a vet check up where everyone received some vaccine boosters and clean bills of health!
