One of my first amps when I was a teen was a Crate Vintage Club 50...

I had a 1/4" > 1/8" cable so I used it as my computer speaker... I don't know that it ever got turned off, to be honest.

I knew there were "tubes" inside, but I didn't know (nor care) beyond giving the warning "Hey don't sit on that vent, it'll burn the shit out of you."

I eventually got rid of it because of a faulty input jack, of all things.... but it never had any other issues.

I really like mine. I bought it to try my hand and upgrades and modifications. The amp tech said I only made a few errors.

yah apparently after I finished playing after Sunday services I went home and didn't turn it off... Thank Golly I was scheduled to play the following Sunday because when I came in to setup it was already on and warmed up for me...lol. Thought Surely I cooked the tubes. Everything seems fine. Funny enough I had just retubed all of the tubes 2 months prior.
