Anyone else tired of…

I really like Dinosaur Jr, but to each their own. There last album is really good. Not many bands can still consistently put out decent stuff almost 40 years into their career.

The rig rundown wasn’t that exciting, but are they ever actually any good?

Is there a new one? I keep seeing it in my suggested videos on YT, but assumed it was one of the old ones from the tile.

I like J. Mascis a lot, and I actually do like watching his interviews, but mainly because they are often times so painful for the interviewer.

And like David Berman said: "all my favorite singers couldn't sing."

Worse than that, rig rundowns featuring the roadie. No thanks. I want to hear the artist talk about his gear choices. I don't want to hear the employee telling us how gracious, creative, exacting and/or musically gifted his boss is. We get it, you need the paycheck. I'd rather hear the artist in his own words explain which DOD pedals don't suck or why he's still running Boss delays when he could find way more amazing pedals to do more with less signal degradation.

also ... how is everyone skipping over that Paul Gilbert was in that super soft late 80s band Mr Big? Who the hell wants to sound like the guy responsible for power ballads like To Be With You?
If you know who Paul Gilbert is, you're well aware lol. To Be With You is definitely the softest song they wrote. I'd much rather listen to Racer X anyway

Oh and though he’s not the worst, anyone of fan of Uli Jon Roth’s singing? I can get over it because of the brilliant guitar work

Never listened to him until now.

Impressive vocals. That is the dream voice of my dream band. Yes the journey has ended for me. Thank you
(Pure sarcasm everyone text doesn’t always convey that)
Haha. He recently put out some folky music and they played it all over the radio here. It was the most god awful singing I'd ever heard. Rockstar ego projects. Sigh.

I hate the Green Day one. The roadie chews his gum with smacking noises into the mic for the whole thing.
