This is the first time I try my hand at building a pedal point-to-point. It’s not the cleanest job ever, but hey, it works! In the picture I’m usina NOS Toshiba PN1002 but I actually changed the transistors for ME4003, with hFE circa 300. Sounds really cool and it’s a very meditative way to build a pedal! Went with a plain red finishing on this one.

Thanks a lot man! I like to keep building pedals something interesting and chalenging for myself. When you start selling and building 4-5 of the same pedals everyday it becomes a little boring and repetitive, so I enjoy trying different components, brands and types of wire, gravitate between modern components and NOS stuff, mix SMD, anything to keep it exciting! I’m really glad you enjoy it - and I also keep an eye for all your builds here thru the years!

Your attempt beats my first one by a longshot outside and in. I completely agree it's a weird zen feeling as you watch the circuit complete itself before your eyes.

Geezuz man you continue to crush. Never lost with a Black Magik in the background either, but just devastating clean work. jhaneyzz did me a solid a while back with doing similar looking off-board wiring on my go to compressor but this looks crazy.
