D3 12v zener is blown after loaning pedal out. From what I understand its a safety for the charge pump???
Im out of 12v but have 14v .5w and 15v 1w.
Am I safe to use either of these? Thanks in advance.

just take it out if you are using a regulated 9v supply, and don't loan it out again :ROFLMAO:

most charge pump chips have a max input rating of 10-12 volts, so a 14v etc zener wouldn't offer any protection anyway. If you have a good power supply there is nothing to worry about if you omit it

9.1V will most likely short prematurely with a perfectly good power supply.

Honestly, I would just omit it.

If someone plugs in too much voltage something is going to short.... the zener or the charge pump. Who cares which one it is?

Socket the charge pump and make it an easier fix in the future. :ROFLMAO:

Another update: Yesterday at rehearsal, we a/b'd the stock Kliche' vs the modified c15/8.2nf /bypass mod. We tried this quickly through a bass rig. Quick impressions were, modified sounded fuller and cleaner, stock was grindier and more high mid attack. Both were cool so its up to personal preference when mods are concerned. I personally like the modded version through a guitar rig better.

I agree, both have their place and both are good but prefer the modded one myself as well.
