This would be more fun if I knew some heavier riffs.

I spend too much of my time playing acoustic, and nothing I do there sounds cool going through the chainsaw.

I had fun with this for a couple hours, but it'll probably end up living in the drawer unless I learn some new chops.

Try using it as a boost with the high and low around 1 o clock, it shines there too. Love me some chainsaw but it's got a few surprises otherwise haha

yeh cant stand it full on, I like unity volume, full distortion (there's no range there anyway), low 3pm, high 1pm.

this is all you need to do:

1) humbuckers
2) chug
3) 0 - 1 - 4 - 1 powerchords. or whatever floats your boat.

also, for reference, I'm pretty sure this is the LP that elevated HM-2 to it's status

It sure did. Most bands that play the same kinda stuff with HM-2s nowadays have been dubbed “entombedcore”

I actually quite like it with bass cranked, gain cranked, and treble around noon or lower. Some nice doomy electric wizardy stuff

I rarely use the actual chainsaw sound, the low gyrator frequency is just a kick in the chest. I love it.
