It's all I had at the moment and it'll fit an ATMEGA328P so that's a plus.

My goal right now is just a bulletproof plug-and-play programmer for the 24LC32A... it'll eventually be integrated into the FV-1 Development board.

No sir, there is not. Resistors are my least favorite part. 1/8 watt are even worse.
