Pedal builders REACT to this guy finally cracking the Spirit In The Sky fuzz

Not amused. Spray paint and goop? This was a really nice looking pedal otherwise.

So disappointed in that decision.... This is going to take tens of minutes to undo....

Goop is so boring. I did like the concrete bar you showed some time ago!! If I were to "protect" a circuir, I'd try filling the whole box to the brim with epoxy resin.. 🙃

I just don’t understand… why bother doing this nowadays? They must know that it’s not impenetrable, and once the cat’s outta the bag schematic-wise there’s absolutely no point in making repairs incredibly difficult by doing this…

you forgot the body filler ... oh look two silicon transistors and 1n400x diodes I wonder what it could be

You're not suggesting it's a completely original new circuit?

I'll see your body filler and raise you one piece of cork and some hot glue.

Honestly, at this point I feel like I might have gotten some sort of prototype or demo unit... This is just not built like the rest of their pedals.

hot glued corkboard, primer, and RTV ... I swear to God this was a single shopping trip where the strip mall had both a Michael's and a farm store

and no, I said this was a bosstone a month ago sight unseen
