*so* much love. They're right up there with the dude who wraps his Fuzz Face PCBs in wallpaper and charges like $400.You'll love JPTR FX.
I mean regardless of the target audience, $270 is too much for basically anything he’s selling.
If like Wampler made a JFET boost with a charge pump in a 125B, it’d probably be like $100-$150 and I’d call that a fair price to pay, knowing what I know about what it costs to build these things in a reasonable manner to a high standard and still make a living.
This dude artificially inflates the values of his BoM with useless power supplies and oversized enclosures to make his pedals appear to be more than they are.
And I find that distasteful.
If it wasn't for spite building, I'd never get anything done. You talk a lot of shit for a guy who wants to make a clone of the guy’s pedal.

What happened with Chase Tone? His website is obnoxious, but his prices are reasonable.
Says it uses 150mA for a JFET boost? I'm interested in the power supply conversion thing though. Sounds neat.
euna/skeptical buffer C1 is 3pF but with large footprint on silkscreen?!?
started building this today and C1 is an nonpolarized cap with a large footprint (~same size as the 1uF boxes... my camera isn't cooperating) The silkscreen says '3p'. I wanted to check in case this is a typo/error because 3pF seems tiny. Any ideas on what it should be? also -- maybe an...forum.pedalpcb.com
His website is obnoxious and he uses the term Magic as an adjective to describe his pedals.
But you are 1000% correct, his prices are insane. I don’t know how he makes any money.
Hey my pedals are magic too. I haven't used my Guvnor in weeks and went I plugged it in last night it was magically silent. It was the biggest noise reduction I've ever accomplished with a circuit, without even trying even, but it also didn't make any sound at all.
Skeptical Buffer V2 confirmed! It's funny you mention the power supply.
No, it's not a clone. No, it's not meant to be. Yes, it does the same damned thing.

Tidy! What's IC2?It's funny you mention the power supply.

My guess is a dc-to-dc converter along with the diode bridge rectifier.Jokes aside,
Tidy! What's IC2?
What's the current draw of this doodad, and how much current can it put out? It's funny you mention the power supply.

How did I not notice that the first time lol
