Abyss LDR selection

Hello,

I'm about to start build an Abyss Vibe and since i have in stock some LDR i would like to know which will do the job nicely.

8k-20k-1M
or
16k-50k-2M
or
0-20Κ-1M

Any information is appreciated

Hey I’m trying this build out myself and figured I’d share for posterities sake for others. Saw a lot of discussion on this forum that may be helpful. The vero says to test so I’m going to socket them and try with what’s on hand to test it out.

How did your build turn out?

I used the LDRs indicated in the BOM and they work quite nicely. Just pick ones that match those specs closely. You may also take into consideration the wavelengths that the LDRs respond best to since you are using a yellow LED(550-590nm), it will make a difference in how responsive the LDRs are

used the suggested LDR's from BOM.
2mm distance from yellow diffused led sounded best to my ears...
very nice vibe
