Eric Johnson Strat with a story. Out of respect to the friend I acquired it from the story will remain confidential, but the guitar is a reminder of him and even though it looks like hell, it sings like an angel.
Next is my ‘92 Strat + it was my first real electric. I don’t play it much anymore but it will not be going anywhere too many memories with it. It originally had been modded with a humbucker, but I not long ago reverted it back to as original a state as possible with 90’s pickguard and 90’s red lace sensor in the bridge. It’s a little sterile tone wise, but plays very well.

The LSR nut was a serious upgrade. Mine has the Wilkinson roller and I can’t fit anything above a 10 through it.

I didn’t want to be a strat guy but after I built this one, I was converted. I still prefer les paul style guitars but this strat was an eye opener. I had only ever played strats that were awful so I had a bad taste in my mouth. This was put together with the cheapest parts I could find on Amazon and guitar fetish. Roasted maple neck from amazon. Pawlonia Body from guitar fetish. I sprung a little for a brass Yngwe Malmsteen nut and Dimarzio Billy corgan pickups in the neck and bridge. The middle pickup is a guitarfetish gold foil single coil that I didn’t like at first but I raised it up closer to the strings and now I love it. Push/push coil split on the volume pot. Mojotone PIO caps and treble bleed circuit. I added a “Gilmour” switch to add the neck pickup with bridge. Noiseless trem springs from guyker on Amazon. Big ass brass spring claw from guyker too.

1977 Strat, received it for Christmas in 1985 when I was 17. All original until last year when it finally had to be refretted; I took that opportunity to replace the trem with a SuperVee Bladerunner and the original 3-way switch with a 5-way..

Sunburst is a MJT nitro body. Musikraft 1 piece maple neck. Bare Knuckle True Grit bridge/DiMarzio Injector neck. 3-way switch.
Blue is a Fender Japan FSR body. Warmoth roasted maple/dark rosewood neck. Duncan Invader HB.
Waterslide decals applied by me with Stewmac nitro clear!
