Best blues driver mods

Hey everyone.

What is the best blues driver modification, preferably the one that it the most different from the original.

I laid out a pcb for a blues driver for a friend in Easy EDA and had it printed theough JLPCB. The minimum order was 5.

I will need to test that it works before I give it to my friend, but I already have blues driver clone (slightly modded to reduce gain).

As there is no point me having 2 blues drivers, i'd like to make a different version. Whad is a good BD-2 mod and whihc is the most different form the stock?

The heaviest mod for the BD-2 is probably the Galaxie Mod. You'll find the details here :

I've never heard the result, i tried it on my second build but something was wrong, i went back to stock. I know other builders managed to do it successfully.

For my own mods, i used B. Wampler 's article, which is full of ideas :

There's a Fender style tonestack with fixed values. Experimenting different values there can lead to interesting results.

This is all you need right here, it’s a 4 part series, I believe.

The Aion FX pcb has a bass control added to the last op amp section. You may be able to put add it to the stock pcb with some jumpers or something. Screen Shot 2023-08-13 at 1.39.04 PM.png
