Chop Shop (new revision) - any final builds there?

Exactly so. PPCB boards list the values on the boards themselves, so you can ‘paint by numbers’ if you like

No intent to be rude here: all I mean is that you can assemble the whole thing without consulting the schematic if you’re so inclined.

Seems to depend on which revision you’re working with. Maybe not a bad thing to let this rest for a while until it’s resolved and you have a fighting chance of getting it working?

Yeah. I'm not soldering anything else. I'm waiting for feedback from Musikding, which is a drag, because he takes over 2 days to answer and took around 2 weeks to actually ship the goods.

Yes, I feel your disappointment but the wait will be worth it in the long run.

SOLVED - Chop Shop gain not working

Hi guys, I’ll be looking at one of my first build, as the gain/drive pot stopped working on this Chop Shop. Volume and Sag seem to be working fine, but an overdrive without the drive is a bit pointless. As I’m still a noob when it comes to troubleshooting, I was just wondering if someone had any...

Quick update. Over a month and Musikding still hasn't sent me the correct pieces for this kit.

This is a major letdown. What a terrible experience and for sure I won't be ordering anything else from them.

I don't know man. This was the worst experience ever ordering online. Major, major letdown.

I've ordered a couple of pedals with enclosures on the 17th January. One Chop Shop and one 45er Phaser from Musikding. The guy not only took A LOT of time to ship these, but he:

- forgot to ship one of the enclosures
- sent me the wrong pack of materials for the Chop Shop
- forgot to send me one item for the 45er kit too

After a bunch of emails he sent me the enclosure, but... no materials for the Chop Shop. So I end up with a Chop Shop panel with the wrong material list (he sent me the ones for the non-revised edition).

It's February 22nd. I'm waiting for well over a month for this. He doesn't even reply to my emails anymore.

I'm truly sorry to hear this. Living in South Africa, I'm fairly resigned to waiting long for stuff from overseas but seldom get orders that are completely wrong as you describe. Not really knowing what to say, I can only commiserate with your plight.
