SOLVED Danae - Dropped it

So yeah……..dropped my Danae and now it’s not working.

Passes audio on bypass, lights up, power to the IC.

Thoughts on what it could be?

Looks like the tip of the input jack is grounding out. Could just be the angle of the pic

Ahh ok, I thought it might be.

If you haven't already, pull out the opamp and reinstall it just to be sure.

Do you hear anything at all when you turn the pots back and forth?

What about if you unplug / reapply power with the pedal active? Any pops, chirps, etc?

Inputs clear that’s just a hack job and the angle of the photo.

Hard to tell from the picture angle, but is 51p C5 position cap making contact with the anode pad of the LED or the positive power pad?

Reseated the op amp, nothing

Nothing when I turn the knobs

Pops if I have the pedal on and plug it in, nothing from the pots.

It was close, move it back to be safe and no dice.

Son of a gun! I thought I might have had my first solve. I'd probably check to see if either there is a cold solder joint that got knocked loose when it fell, or if one of the wires coming out of the break out board to the board got knocked together in a way that are causing the to short together.

Sorry to rob you of your first solve! It is a solid guess with the terrible photo I posted!

Did you check continuity on both position on your footswitch ?

I've got an audio probe if you need to borrow it, probably easier to make your own though.

I'm with @ThatDude - I'd grab my most powerful magnifier and start checking for cracked solder joints next.

There's a dark line on this diode joint that looks a little suspect. Could be popped loose.

Me too, but that gets old after a while and makes me not want to use that pedal
