Donner triple threat

This is a pretty neat pedal. I too wonder what circuits are in there. I feel like the phaser is an OTA. So, it’s probably of the Ross variety.

Here's the copy from the third man site

"Triple Threat starts with a wide-range high gain distortion, with volume, gain, and tone controls to create a threatening rock sound. A classic phaser upgraded from the Pearl Tremor pedal by Donner is next with extended mod controls. Third in line is an analog voiced echo, originated from Donner’s first ever pedal, the Yellow Fall Delay released in 2013, with warm analog tone and rich feedback.

With upgraded circuit design and tuning the tone to Jack’s specifications,"

Looks like the Pearl Trimmer is a Phase90 clone and the Yellow Fall is pt2399 based. I wonder what the high gain distortion is. I'd bet on a muff

I’d honestly be surprised to see it FET based as matching is key and for a budget pedal a drawback. Further I think opto are too expensive and have their own quirks, so I’d personally have guessed OTA based as well

I’d definitely say PT2399 as it has become so cheap and easy to design and build now (my first pedal I designed and not just built was a PT2399 based “analog” delay).

I’m also thinking muff based (maybe opamp muff?) as it seems to range from DS1 crunch to true fuzz, which to me screams opamp muff

I have the Pearl Tremor. It’s good…but mine always clipped with HB’s, and not the nice sounding kinda clipping…
