EHX Electric Mistress

Oh wait... you meant.... eeew. :ROFLMAO:

Seriously though, there are times when a 1590BB does make sense.... multiple footswitches, stereo jacks, expression jacks, etc... but otherwise I just hate to work with them myself.

They're too shallow and they really don't offer that much more internal space. In some cases I actually feel more constrained.

In almost all cases I'd rather stack boards or use SMD components than fool with them.

Looking back though, I do somewhat regret ever putting two footswitches in a 125B in vertical orientation. I'm sure I'll do it again, but it's not the most ideal placement.

I just bought a new NYC Muff a couple weeks ago. I just wanted one new in box to hang on to for my own nostalgia.

With the trend to go smaller and smaller I'd really hate to not have one if they ever decide to stop making them.

I have the Frequency Analyzer prototype in a 125B but I'm afraid I might need better separation of the carrier and signal path... we'll see.

I have one in a box for the same reason.

The 1590bb2 might change how you feel about them

It does solve the depth issue but I still don't like em much. :ROFLMAO:

I'm just so used to squeezing things into a 125B that I feel out of my element in a 1590BB.

... you guys do know that little board isn't a Frequency Analyzer, right?

I’ve built the Madbean one. Sounded great, but it was a pain to put together. Needed the stubby lumberg jacks and even then it was a tight squeeze in a 1590bb. Aesthetically speaking, my ocd hated that the switch didn’t line up with the knobs. I also put the rate LED in. Which is when I found out I don’t care for rate LEDs blinking at me.

I’ve got the Byzantium on the work bench now. Pretty excited to see how it sounds. Hoping it should do everything an electric mistress can do and then some.
