Electro vibe speed issues i think

First post in here! Hi

So I have made 2 electro vibes, both with some mods from this forum and I came to these two differences from eachother

One vibe, I can control the speed of each stage with both knobs, affecting it in a particular way.

Second one, I can only control the speed of each stage with its designed knob, ex speed 1 is controlled with speed 1 only, and speed 2 by speed 2. Speed 1 knob has no effect on speed 2 stage and vice versa, which I find less nice than the 1st vibe way to vibe

Any1 has an idea on this?

Here are some pic.. I can't provide more of it for the moment. Last one pic is the "working" one

they both have the unity mod/3904 reliability/mpsa13 last phase stage

i tried on the 'non working one' the mpsa13 mod but it made the bulb stall. Otherwise they both identical except for the ldr's

This is the thread I took my mods from

The two speed knobs are supposed to be completely independent AFAIK, at least in my build they are. Maybe you did something with the rate LED that connects them?

Edit: im having lot of trouble trying to post/edit. This is the somary as of now

Ill start from yesterday. I made these two identical vibes, which i decided to mod both with : unity, ledrate, mpsa13 Q14 and the 3904s.
in one of them, I also tried both mpsa for Q1 Q2, which made the bulb go stall. Went back to the 5088s.
NOW. I could swear on my life that the 1st vibe, I could affect the modulation with both speed knobs, on BOTH level. So I was able to get an assymetrical wave which was pretty dope. This morning, opened it, noticed that the pad 7 allocation on the breakboard wasnt really soldered and just touching the socket, so I went ad solder it only to find that the assymetrical control was gone, now its beein controlled just like the other one, speed 1 for speed 1 and speed 2 for speed 2.
Ive been on this thing since yesterday tryna find out if there is a correlation with pad 7 and this, as I cant find where the pad 7 goes on the pcb, I thought maybe you were able to help me on that at first.
then, the second vibe isnt vibing unless im in the last section of both pots, and its not that great, even if bias and re bias and biased again. I also noticed that on the 1st vibe, both pots speed arent the same level, which I think is kindof cool. versus the other one, its leveled/same speed, ill join two videos on thishttps://www.veed.io/view/c0d3a30a-6e94-4a23-9c53-a0bd5f1e22f7

the bulb has been replaced on the faulty vibe. swapped out the 3904 and the mpsa13 for the 5088s, same thing. Swapped IC, checked for the speed pots grounding and I dont think that theyre cracked or damaged.. This is just so much for my noob ass.

Your soldering isn't the cleanest, several incomplete joints (breakout board for example) and some crusty spots from what I can see. Therefore it's possible you have some cold solder joints or maybe bridges and so on. I would clean the flux off the board and take a good look at the solder joints.

This board is not beginner-friendly in the first place, let alone with all the mods. It quickly went over my head. It took me a long time to put it together.
