Explain the Little Debbie to me please

I understand it's a BE-OD/Dirty Shirley hybrid, but in what way? Does it have all the gain of the BE, but with the added mid control of the DS, sans external presence and right controls? Does it go DOWN into DS levels of gain or is it balls to the wall like the BE?

I've built a Thermionic and keep the trim pot at only about 25% for less gain than stock and I love it that way, but I wouldn't say it has the DS character just because the gain is lower.

I thought they were Nutty Bars- when did they get the name change? Guess I haven’t had one for years!
