I put an average size Electrolytic in the center for perspective, I have some green chicklet caps 3 times the size shown somewhere, or maybe I sent them to an Amp builder buddy, can't remember, anyways these are what I still have around and could find quickly

DOESN'T MATTER WHOSE STUFF IT IS, they were useful items, the sort of thing you stick in a pill bottle or other container and add to your drawer of miscellaneous useful items — if you don't like clutter then put them away but don't throw out useful items. It's not like they were ickea furniture hardware...

  • Ordering 1N4006 instead of 1N5817. These were rated for 800V IIRC. You cannot bend the leads by hand.
  • Getting a 8mmx20mm 470uF cap for my Derailer.
  • Too many purchases of transistors and ICs from China when they were available at Mouser. Going cheap never pays off.
  • Buying a bunch of 10mm LEDs because they'll look funny. They look funny not sitting in an enclosure.
  • Bulking up an order at PCBGuitarMania because they had a sale and are cheaper because they are in Europe. My frustration was not worth the savings.
  • Terminal blocks which were bought without checking the spacing. Ended up being 5mm..

I like The Smiths too. The Smiths didn’t like Moz though. On top of being a dodgy dude who has lots of problematic views, he’s also just a notorious douche. You know it’s bad when the most notable thing you’ve done in the past decade is have record breaking amount of last-minute show cancellations and incomplete shows— seriously, if you buy Morrissey tickets you’re most likely not actually going to get to see him.

Also if anyone wants to see someone play some smiths tunes I'd suggest seeing Mr Marr instead of Mr Morrissey. He'll be in tune, won't treat the audience with contempt and best of all he'll actually show up and play the entire show.
