Frequency Interchange and Fuzz sandwich?

If one wanted to modify the frequency Interchange and place a fuzz or other dirt pedal between the hof and LPF, so HPF->fuzz->LPF, could you patch in the fuzz at C5?
I'm guessing you'd want to omit or modify the input and output resistors and maybe filter caps on the fuzz. Concerned C5 on the FIF would create a filter with one of those stages, depending on which side of C5 you landed on.
Not so sure C5 would be needed as DC block would happen in the attached circuit anyway. Thoughts?

In that schematic, the LPF section come before the HPF, so the order would actually be LPF-fuzz-HPF. And yes C5 would the point at which to inject the fuzz circuit.

A pulldown resistor should not be needed after IC2.1 unless the circuit following is in a separate enclosure.
