Seems that a lot of P90 guitars are off the beaten path. This one is no different. I think if you're into that body design and such then it's an absolute winner. No doubt in my mind that it'll play well. I think if I was gonna buy one it would be with the cherry or natural finish. That ebony just doesn't look right to me.

I'm not a fan of the looks entirely, but honestly I think it's the headstock that pushes it over the edge for me. The body isn't bad, and the cherry and natural finishes are gorgeous, but that headstock looks like it belongs on the rink.

But I instant saw Kirby and not I just can't unsee it 🤣

Yep. A company notorious for instant headless guitars [ I own one ] defies logic and common sense with this headstock.

I thought Epiphone copied Gibson styling, not the other way around. That headstock is totally a throw back to the “batwing” style from the Epiphone Crestwood of the 60’s. I’m all for breaking the mold of convention, but that thing is ugly.

I'm surprised they haven't filed a cease-and-desist against Strandberg.

I have a Les Paul and an SG. And I want a Flying V.
But that Theodore is gross.

Isn't it just the explorer headstock?
You beat me to saying it, because I wasted time gathering evidence.

EDIT: Both pics from Gibson.com. Pic 1 is the guitar in question, pic 2 is the Explorer.
