informant charge pump

hi, would there be any audible difference between the LT1054 vs TC1044 charge pump in the informant? i've got a TC1044 on hand, but i do like to make these close to original specs before i start tweaking anything. am i giving this circuit a fair shake if i go with the TC1044?

There shouldn't be. The role of this chip is to double the voltage to the rest of the circuit. Either chip can do that, and it shouldn't have an impact on tone.

Just make sure the TC1044 is has the 'S' in its suffix to be compatible with audio use, and that you jumper the TC1044 pads on the PCB.

And make sure to put the solder blob on the back across the two pads!

thank you, gentlemen. i will make a blob of solder and give this guy a whirl. i've had the board populated for MONTHS and i'm just getting around to loading the ICs. will hopefully give this a whirl momentarily. cheers!

this is a nice sounding circuit. just test drove it with the TC1044 on my new auditorium test platform and it definitely passed the "box it?" test. thanks for the help, guys!
