Is this too good to be true?

I'm with him ^^^^^^^^^^ only 2 haave been 'cheaper' so far, a ric clone and putting mexican fender guts in a chinese kit... otherwise be easier saner/maybe cheaper to get a epiphone/squier grade item and after market the p-ups/wiring/tuners. And this is from already having the tools(saws, files router) when you start a build :ROFLMAO:

We set sail on this Internet sea because there is new knowledge to be gained, and new ideas to be won, and they must be won and used for the progress of all DIYers. For pedal science, like amp science and all guitar-technology, has no conscience of its own. Whether it will become a force for Major-good or minor-ill depends on the builder-player...

...We choose to go to PedalPCB and the Moonn. We choose to go to PedalPCB, MadBean and the Moonn... We choose to go to PedalPCB, MadBean, Aion, and the Moonn in this day and do the other build-things, not because they are cheesy easy-peasy, but because they are sailor-swearing hard; because that good-tone will serve to organize and measure the best of our playing energies and skills, because that DIY-challenge is one that we are willing to troubleshoot, one we are unwilling to scrap, and one we intend to finish, and the others, too.

Not too long ago I posted the site where all dewalt tools were less than 100. Including $650 saws w/work table. The name of the site was very convincing as well. They tried to keep feeding scroll data to the page to prevent you from getting to the "contact us" link, but I disconnected the network cable for a second and clicked on the link then plugged back in (as a programmer I can be just as devious as any hacker, but I programmed for the good of mankind). The contact data led to a page full of BS links. I reported the the page to DeWalt....

Folks like yourself are doing the Lords work. I was recently scammed from a site that looked EXACTLY like the original Benchmade (premium knives, for those unaware) site. As if they were an authorized dealer sponsored by Benchmade or something. Yes, the prices were too good to be true and yes, I should’ve known better -but I pulled the trigger anyway. After about a month I received one of the two “Benchmade” knives I purchased, except it was clearly a one of the knock-offs that go for $15 on Wish… the other never came. Fortunately, Chase stepped up and refunded the entire order. Moral of the story: if it’s too good to be true, it most likely is and if it’s on the internet you can be damned sure it is. Be careful out there.
