It was at this point I realized I’d F****d up

There’s nothing masking tape and liquid metal/putty cannot fix. Honestly tape a sheet of plastic outside with grease applied to hole surface and put some liquid metal there from inside. Wait a day and sand flush and then remove tape and the piece of plastic.
Liquid Metal, what’s that

Ha! I am developing quite a collection in various sizes of those plugs!

I have some black plastic plugs similar to that which are slightly domed and fit into a jack sized hole perfectly. I have used them on a Marshall build when converting a 4-hole plexi style amp to a Master Volume style, which only uses two jacks. You sometimes find them as "blanking plugs" and they do indeed come in a variety of sizes. I've bought them on Ebay.

I'd tap that.

Tap the holes, I mean.

Then insert some cool AMP JEWELS for a bitchin' bypass indicator.

DRILL MORE HOLES!

Add some copper pipe between them all and call it SteamBork.

I feel you have a stronger commitment to plugging them holes than me 🤣 it’s going in to the home for enclosures in the sky 🤣
