I have built a Les Lius clone and one weird situation happened.
When I turned on the pedal alone, the volume is low and the boost clipping (when boost switch is on) was not working. Also quite noisy.
What's weird is that when I put an overdrive or distortion before it (i tried 3 pedals, all can solve the problem), the above problems went away completely.
Any idea on what may go wrong?
