LM301AN Replacement?

Hi All,

I purchased a cattle driver and had all the parts for the build with the exception of the LM301AN Op Amp. Looking online, all of the parts suppliers I use are showing it as unavailable and obsolete. Is there a different opamp that I can use that is similar? Im fairly new to all of this so Im hoping somebody can steer me in the right direction.

Small Bear is an excellent pedal parts supplier. They're a small outfit located in Brooklyn. Between the NY lockdowns and getting deluged with orders, they can be a little slow. Your patience will be rewarded. LM301s have been out of production for a while, so the factory-authorized distributors like Mouser & DigiKey aren't going to have them. Buying them on eBay is a crap-shoot and is not recommended.

CA3130 & CA3140 are good alternatives. Some people may tell you they don't sound the same, but you'll need to decide for yourself whether the sound is good enough or not. You may even like them better.

My genuine Buffalo TDX 2015 build has a LM308N with same 47pf compensation caps!
I have hilighted it to read the Op Amp.
