Loft Fuzz (Green)

So this is about as simple a build as it gets, and it’s entirely possible you’ve got everything you need to build this one in your spare parts drawers (the only parts I didn’t have handy were the 2N4401 transistors).

Now, THIS is the reason I put the Spires on the wishlist in the first place; the green side of the Spires is my absolute *favorite* vintage, buzzy, scuzzy fuzz. EQD’s got a few circuits in this Velcro-ey vintage-ey neighborhood - the Terminal/Depot, the Dirt Transmitter/Cross Contaminator - but this one is *really* special and way easier to dial-in. I mean, all its got is a Tone knob, and it sounds fantastic all the way around the dial - I basically leave the Tone all the way down where it’s got plenty of thickness without going flabby.

Top notch fuzz. 10/10 no notes.

The build docs aren't up yet, I have both the red and green pcbs so I am sourcing parts.

Is there any particular type of caps I should be choosing for this build? Wondering if different types would affect the tone greatly.
How much will carbon comp resistors affect tone? There might be another thread on this but I was wondering if the different components will make that big of a difference.

I'm a novice here so please go easy on me lol
