Mahayana and Tommy

I came down with the coronavirus after playing a show last weekend, so I've been trying to stay busy at home working on pedals. I built a Zen for a friend a while back and really wanted another one for myself so I dashed one out this weekend. A couple weeks ago I finished a Timmy, which is a must have overdrive. Very versatile.

I stumbled through a take of "Zoot Allures" by Zappa with the Timmy last week. Great for articulate, semi-clean stuff.

Using a Peavey JF-1 Hollowbody into the Tommy into the fat channel of the Mesa Mark V. TC Flashback in the loop.

Thanks for the well-wishes. I had to stay in bed for a few days. Lot's of brain fog and weird symptoms. My toes keep tingling and I have a hard time remembering words.

You can hear the hollow nature of the guitar in that clip. Beautiful playing. I love hollows and semi-hollows. Most of my guitars are hollow or semi. Something about the attack or something... I have a recent Gibson ES-225 RI which is one of the best sounding guitars I have ever heard - it's crazy how great it sounds. And I can hear that kind of tone in your playing. Wonderful.
